The Private Pilot Program is conducted under FAR 61, including 40 hours of flight training (FAA minimum 40 hours) which includes 20 hours of dual instruction, 20 hours directed solo practice and 2 hours for the FAA Practical Examination. Also included is ground school and 20 hours of one-on-one ground instruction. Completion of the Private Pilot Course (including the Practical Examination) allows the pilot to act as Pilot in Command of an aircraft carrying passengers or property, but not for compensation or hire subject to FAR Parts 61 and 91.
Those pilots requiring re currency and renewal of license.
